Outdoor Wedding Locations

More and more couples are taking their weddings outdoors. Though the beach is still the most popular choice, other outdoor locales are growing in popularity.

Outdoor Wedding

Botanical gardens, orchards and vineyards are nice choices. They provide a beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony and are relatively inexpensive.

When planning your wedding, you must have a backup plan for bad weather. Provide large tents to keep your guests safe from the elements.

With an outdoor wedding, keep food and drinks light. You can serve salads, fresh fruit and wine spritzers, if you wedding is taking place in the mid-morning or early afternoon.

Consider a shorter wedding gown for an outdoor wedding. It will go along with the more casual feel of the event. If you want to wear a long dress, skip the lace, crystals and beading, instead choose a simple dress in a smooth silky fabric.
