Maybe you don’t want to have a completely “green” wedding, but you want to do a little more to be eco-friendly. Here are three easy things you can incorporate into your wedding day to be a bit more kind to the environment.
Use Recycled Paper
From green wedding invitations to ceremony programs, use recycled or treeless paper. Recycled stationery costs about the same as tradtional wedding invitations. You can also find treeless paper made from substances such as bamboo or hemp. At the reception, skip the paper napkins and choose cloth instead.
Organize a carpool
Organize a carpool or vanpool to transport everyone to and from the wedding location. This will save a bit of fuel, as well as insure that no one is driving drunk after the reception.
Stick to Digital Photography
Instead of paper based photographs, go completely digital. You will save paper, processing costs, toxic chemicals and more.
