Before heading to the flower shop to choose your wedding flowers, you should familiarize yourself with the common types of wedding bouquets.
Nosegay
This is a relative small bouquet that features one type of flower with no greenery.
Hand-Tied
Growing in popularity in recent years, this bouquet features a cluster of flowers tied at mid-stem with a ribbon. The raw stems are seen extending below the bride’s hands.
Round
The round is traditional round bouquet usually made up of flowers, greenery, and filler. However, you can skip the greenery and filler if you like.
Cascade
The cascade bouquet is very beautiful and oftentimes dramatic. Featuring a round of flowers that thins in a v-shape in front. The cascade can be just long enough to cover the hands or trail down to the floor.
Presentation
The presentation or arm bouquet is something like you would see a beauty pageant winner carrying. It’s made of long stem flowers (often roses) and is carried in the crook of your arm.
