If you are looking for a unique place to have your wedding, consider Mackenzie King Estate in Gatineau Park in Ottawa. This beautiful estate features spectacular grounds, restored cottages and amazing gardens. In 1928, Mackenzie King was in his 3rd term as prime minister and had guests such as Winston Churchill and Charles Lindbergh at his elegant cottage here.
At the Mackenzie King Estate, you can hold your wedding on the grounds or have a private reception at The Moorside Tearoom between May and the end of October. Basic rate for wedding ceremonies is $300. Parking fees and other rates may also apply.
