Picking Lipstick for Your Wedding

Your wedding photographs will last forever. So you want to look picture perfect. If you are doing your makeup yourself, rather than spending money on a makeup artist, be sure to practice your wedding day makeup to get it just right.

When selecting lipstick for your wedding, obviously you should consider your skintone but also consider the time of year.

Winter Brides – Stick with true reds. You don’t want anything that’s too dark or too pink. Berry or wine colors are also nice.

Spring Brides – Soft pinks or coral reds are perfect for spring. Think of the colors of spring flowers.

Summer Brides – In the summer, you can use deeper pinks than spring but nothing too dark.

Autumn Brides – Reds with gold/brown undertones are a top choice — but nothing to orange, it will make your teeth look yellow.
