When decorating for your wedding, if you don’t have a particular theme, fruit is a nice complement to your decor. For your reception tables, large baskets or bowls of colorful fresh fruits can be used for centerpieces.

It’s also a great way to save some cash. Instead of having a large dessert table with expensive cheesecake and other goods, you can just serve your wedding cake and fruit instead. It’s simple and delicious. Your guests will probably be full from their meal and won’t want a big dessert anyway.
Sticking with the fruit idea, you can choose fruit-themed wedding favors. Some ideas include:
- Personalized mini bottles of grape juice, apple cider or even wine
- Wedding candy apples (the ones pictured here are from Amy’s Gourmet Apples)
- Jars of homemade fruit jellies and jams
- Fruit shaped candles
- Fruit shaped refrigerator magnets
For summertime, citrus fruits are a good choice. As we head into fall, choose autumn fruit and squashes instead.
